A fantastic fine dining neighborhood restaurant. Good wine selection. Friendly well trained staff. The menu changes regularly to keep it interesting. I can always find something great to eat.

Alas, the Louis XIII Experience was coming to a close, but it ending on an amazing high note as we poured the star of the evening, the pouring of the Louis XIII. Matthew did a wonderful job as he heightened the anticipation as he showed us the proper way to toast using the beautiful stemware he provided for this special evening; the process of the best way to enjoy the first sip; and how to extend the pleasure of the pour until the last drop was finally sipped. Even the empty glass brought forth a truly amazing bouquet. While the Louis XIII was clearly dessert enough, continuing the French flair of the evening, we each opted for a souffle as a finishing touch to a remarkable, and memorable evening. We cannot wait for the 'Next' event featuring Louis XIII. Stay tuned....details will be forthcoming. Anticipation....

The Louis XIII Experience continued when the entree was served, our Certified Angus Beef Filet with Bearnaise Sauce paired with a beautiful 2004 Chateau Clos L'Eglise, Pomerol Bordeaux. Matthew continued to educate, entertain, and raise the growing anticipation of the grand finale, the Louis XIII tasting.

Our Louis XIII Experience dinner began with a French-incpired menu choice of eithe Foie Gras with roasted pear & French-toasted Harvest Cake or our Escargot with puff pastry, grapes, mushrooms, pecans and herb butter served with the 1995 Charles Heidsick 'Blanc de Millenaires' Champagne. It was a delightful way to begin what was a truly memorable evening.

Last evening was our 'Louis XIII Experience' at Next Bistro. We were joined by Matthew Springate, Louis XIII Ambassador, as he introduced the audience to this truly amazing Cognac, to some, for their first time. We were also joined by Nathan Gilmore, Wine Specialist for Folio Fine Wine Partners as he shared his extensive knowledge about the wines served throughout the evening including the spectacular Charles Heidsick 1995 'Blanc de Millenaires' Champagne among others.
