The Weir Hotel ,Thameside and Sunbury Village residents are taking Elmbridge Borough Council to the High Court in London on December 6th. The Council have given themselves permission to build a Giant Stadium on the River Thames in a peaceful location. We have fought tooth and nail for over 4 years...now all their dirty tricks have come home to roost! The Council are so worried about losing this Judicial Review that they have actually applied Today for another Full Planning Application on the same site! I wonder what the Royal Courts of Justice will think of that on December 6th. Please help support us in keeping this riverside peaceful by making a small donation and spreading this on twitter and facebook Kind regards, Teresa & Matt Https://Www.crowdjustice.co.uk/case/you-can-help/

davewillcocks67A dog went over this weir yesterday .... A heart stopping moment. Luckily, unlike his owners (who were apoplectic), he seemed to quite enjoy it. A couple of minutes later he ran back up the weir and swam to safety.
